Many people are inspirational in the way they have the courage to stand by their dreams. To choose to focus on a dream, a goal that seems huge to others, can be a lonely experience. So often, those around you will not share the vision you have and cannot understand your commitment – your choice to stick with it.
This week on social media, I saw the wonderful story of Caine’s Arcade; an outstanding and moving example of someone choosing to stand by their dreams. Caine is just nine years old, and the commitment he shows to his dream is truly inspirational. Take a look at his facebook page and watch the video. Choose to take ten minutes to watch it now.

Seeing Caine’s smile was worth every second! How wonderful… And such a remarkable boy!
Many adults could learn a thing or two from Caine: never give up, follow your heart and you can overcome anything if you want it badly enough.
A few years back, nobody could understand why I wanted to give up a successful teaching career to write. Then a precious friend sent me a card which I still have in a pink ‘memory’ box.
The card was inscribed with the words,’ The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.’ Inside she’d written, ‘Dare to dream. Whatever that dream is, never doubt it, but follow it, listening to your inner voice. ‘ Just wanted to share the thought as your blog reminded me how important that card was to me.
